Bird Walk BOM 2016

Bird Walk features River Rock Promo Batiks from Marcus Fabrics and was designed by Lisa Norton and Lora Zmak of Material Girlfriends Patterns. This beautiful quilt features a variety of pieced, appliqued and paper pieced blocks.  The pieced Blocks in the quilt all have bird names including Duck Track, Bird's Nest, Hummingbird, Darting Birds, Duck Foot and Return of the Swallows.  This 12 Month program begins in January 2017.  The progression of the blocks is deliberate to balance the techniques used in each quarter, including applique, pieced and paper-pieced blocks.  Quilt finishes to 50" X 66".
